The more I read each of your poems the more I love them Ray. This is a real treat for the eyes. 🙂

  5. We have a full moon tonight, or at least pretty darn close. I pointed it out to our son on the way home from a school event this evening. And yes, it was silvery.

But it didn’t bring love dreams. It took me back to my childhood. I recall watching TV and seeing a cartoon of a moon turning into a bouncing ball. The ball danced above the words to a song while it was being sung. And I think it was “By the Light of the Silvery Moon,” I can so clearly see that bouncing, glowing ball. What else is stored in this brain, waiting for the right trigger?

  6. good poem. Apollinaire did lots or cool concrete poems similar to this….dig in.
