Shakespeare 2013, The Haiku Soliloquies

He fancied himself a wit and a scholar. His most recent project was a compendium of Shakespeare soliloquies translated into a feeble approximation of haiku. Thus he succeeded in denigrating two literary traditions at once. From Macbeth:

Out, out brief candle —
Tale full of sound and fury
signified nothing.
