Boucle d’oreille: la lune/perle

The moon is full of dreamy light,
close enough to pluck from the thin night
and place, a pearl, on your earthly ear,
but it is better that I pause, reflect,
as still you shine bright in my dreams
through the clair de lune waters of sleep.

There is something felicitous about the moon, and you’ve expressed this so well. I love the ending.

  7. Oh this is such a nice tribute to the moon.. Noted it for the first time in a while… summers in Sweden don’t allow for much moons (nights are too bright) … but in August it returns brighter than ever… I could hear Debussy in your words.
