Perfect Storms

There were certain similarities, he thought, between their relationship and the effects of climate change on heavily populated coastal regions.

The increasing frequency of superstorms? Check.

The widespread devastation? Check.

The need to move to higher ground? Check.

A fifty-year plan for shoreline restoration?

Not so much.
