we

of course it is illusion

but never false

the way we shape little worlds

between us

from moonlight and cloth scraps

stitched together

    For me, the image of moonlight being fabric-like, something that can be stitched, is completely enchanting. It’s an idea I’ve often played with inside my head! You’ve just put it so easily, so simply in one line – I love it! The whole poem is beautiful!
