just another day —
chickadees at the feeder
filling their gullets
Last night was the first time I had a normal-type day & night on New Years Eve. Woke up this morning the best I’ve felt in a while for the new year…there’s something to embracing the everyday and making it special simply for being “everyday.”
I try to live mindfully every day, but it’s easier when I’m not at work
I resonate with a message of this poem: even the mundane can be exquisite, when we take time to notice, to care, to ponder, and to see.
Did you take the photo? It’s lovely. Enjoying your poetry too.
no, and thank you
