Marina

It was a hot June night,
my first roller coaster,
and we were both 14,
an awkward age.

Remember how everything
stopped for a heart
beat              and then
the mad dive like a falcon

and when I opened my eyes
you were still beside me.
You took my hand and ran us
to take that ride again.

Ah, such an awkward age indeed. Very well said.

Nice how you fuse two or maybe more moments
and paint it up surprisingly. Like memory does. Thanks.
