All Around You

In a world without end, anywhere you stand must be at the exact center, but no more so than for the bee hives or the raspberry patch or the old white pine that lost some big limbs in last week’s storm. The snow seems to be coming from all directions at once, so it doesn’t really matter. This world is all around you, but it is not all about you.

it is still snowing —

little pieces of the sky

falling on my head
